The Olive Harvest has started

Harvesting has begun, we took our first tonne of oil olives to our organically certified local processor on Monday after a hard weekend of picking aided by our son-in-law who came up from Melbourne to help.

The oil yield on our first batch was slightly better than expected which we are pleased about.  A friend arrives from London on Sunday to help us with the rest of the picking,
